We are researchers from ASU who study online collective action and there is no way that SlutWalk could have failed to catch our attention. This is a space to share your experiences with and opinions of the movements and for us to share our research with you. The global scope of these campaigns demonstrates that parts of SlutWalk speak to women in various contexts but the street protests manifest in different ways throughout the world. This dynamic underpins our major research questions: What attracts women to these movements? How do women show their support of the movements in cities throughout the globe? Who are the women addressing in their protests? What do the women hope to achieve? Hope you will come back and share your thoughts!
